Awaken the Spiritual Warrior Group Reiki
Awaken the Spiritual Warrior: Group Reiki on the Last Aries Eclipse
with Taylor of Black Satin Venus
Aries is the celestial fighter. The first sign of the zodiac, it represents autonomy, sovereignty, and life itself. As we close the Aries-Libra eclipse series and welcome Neptune and Saturn into Aries this year, we are called to awaken the Spiritual Warrior.
How will you proclaim joy over your life? What causes and communities will you stand for? What actions will you take to bring the world of your dreams to life? How can you protect your fire from manipulation and misdirection?
In this group reiki experience we will embrace fire energy with mindfulness as we contemplate the questions above. By integrating fire in a heart-forward manner, we resist senseless division and violence and act from a place of love.
Spiritual Warrior: Step fully into your power, ignite your passion, and light the fire of devotion.

Care Tools for Organizers Training
Care Tools for Organizers Training is a two day, 20 hour training that is a micro version of our year long mentorship program. This course is created to support those of us doing care work and organizing through difficult times. This is a wonderful opportunity for activists, teachers, yoga instructors, bodyworkers, healthcare providers, and anyone that is providing care for others while simultaneously experiencing the stresses of our current political and ecological realities.
Over our weekend together, and then through supervised practice hours - participants will walk away with 3 distinct skills for working with others in group settings:
Yoga Nidra meditation instruction
Acupressure Seeds & Beads for ears and body acupoints
Tuning forks applied to body points for relaxation
No prior experience or special certification required for any of these. All of the skills can be utilized either ‘hands on’ or ‘hands off’ depending on what is needed and within your scope of practice.
Time commitment is 2 weekend days (Sat Jan 25th and Sun Jan 26th 10-5) and then 6 hours of clinical supervision to be completed in February and March. Supervised clinical hours will be held at DayDream - offering free guided meditation and acupressure to the community. For your ‘final project’, you will submit a recored meditation and receive feedback.
Cost is $275 for the program and includes Seeds/Beads to take home, supervision, and PDF manual. 9 spots total, 1 scholarship spot. No CEUs or accreditations on this one, but you will be joining the extended DayDream Team and will have the opportunity to practice in the space at the successful completion of your clinical hours and final project.

Clothing and Book Swap
Community Clothing & Book Swap hosted by Kirsten and Maritza
Refresh your closet and bookshelf for the new year! Pass along your gently used clothing and books to other members of the community, then leave with a new outfit or winter read (or both!)
How it works:
BYO winter clothes, shoes, accessories, and books you no longer want and are in good condition. Please keep it to 10 clothing items and 5 books. (All clothing items should be clean and free of stains, tears, etc.)
All ages, any size to wear the colder months. We encourage accessories and gender expansive items.
Clothing will be organized by color. Everything should be washed and ready to wear.
Please, no textbooks, reference books, encyclopedias, and magazines.
BYO bag: First come, first serve.
After the swap, we'll donate leftover clothing to Dress for Success Dutchess County, Dutchess Outreach Children's Closet, and/or The Warwick Hope Chest. Leftover books will be donated to Poughkeepsie library bookstore and little free libraries in Beacon and Newburgh.

FREE Ear Acupuncture + Ear Seeds
The AcuDetox/NADA 5 point acupuncture protocol is a form of auricular (ear) acupuncture designed to help people recover from shock, trauma, and addiction. NADA is great for anyone wishing to reduce stress, build immunity and detoxify the body. If you would like the treatment but don't want needles, ear seeds are available.
To enjoy the benefits of ear acupuncture, you will be resting on a massage table or zero gravity chair. You do not have to wear anything in particular, or undress (but you can certainly remove your shoes and get cozy). Expect to spend 20 minutes resting with the needles, or just stop in for ear seeds if you are on the go. Ear seeds can be applied in just a few minutes.
Free Ear Acupuncture Clinics are provided as part of our mission to train new NADA AcuDetox Specialists. Your treatment may be offered by someone still in training, with both an ADS (AcuDetox specialist) and a Licensed Acupuncturist supervising each treatment.
This is a free service for the community. (Donations always welcome.)
Masks are optional for both staff and participants, but if you come in wearing a mask your practitioner will wear a mask as well. Please reschedule if you are not feeling well!
Reserve your spot for Free Ear Acupuncture here. For ear seeds/ear beads, just stop in between 10:30-12:30

Herbal Dream + Sleep Pillow Workshop
Join Masha Schmidt and Kirsten Nunez for a DIY herbal pillow workshop.

Next, we'll each make a custom herbal blend and use them to fill partially made fabric pillows. Participants will then finish sewing the pillows by hand; all skill levels welcome, materials and guidance will be provided. $35 for the workshop + 1 herbal pillow.
Help us welcome community member Kirsten Nunez (she/her) - a maker and journalist focusing on health, lifestyle, and DIY. She is based in Beacon.

Gather + Grow Afterschool
Gather & Grow Herbalism Afterschool Program with Christina Noyes @ Daydream Clinic in Beacon
Do you have a kid between the ages of 7 and 13 who likes to ask questions, make messes*, and try new things? Gather & Grow’s after school herbalism program is the perfect place for them to do these things – and more! – in a supportive environment.
Throughout the program, kids will explore the question, “How can we use what we are learning to take care of our community?” culminating in a collaborative, experiential project based on their ideas. We will learn about body systems, make herb crafts such as salves and hydrosols, and explore what it means to be “healthy”, in our bodies, relationships, and communities. Along the way, we will uncover and explore various lessons plants have to teach us about being in better relationships with each other and the land.
*and clean them up!
Sessions will take place at DayDream Collaborative Clinic in Beacon (544 Main St) on Monday afternoons from 4-5:30. They are facilitated by Christina Noyes, an elementary educator and herbalist passionate about contributing to a thriving herbalism and community organizing ecosystem grounded in reciprocity, respect and liberation.
Dates: 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, and 11/11
The cost of the program is $300 per child, which includes materials. Kids will also take home the things we make to share with their family and friends. Please reach out if this is cost prohibitive.
Space is limited! Sign up today to reserve your spot. A $100 deposit is due upon registration.
