Our time together will include:
The difference between sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system states
History and science of Yoga Nidra
Tips for practicing and leading a Yoga Nidra guided meditation, including trauma informed care guidelines
A 20 minute guided Yoga Nidra practice
This workshop is for activists, medical professionals and CAM providers, yoga instructors, teachers, therapists, caregivers, or anyone that wants to learn more about how to guide themselves and others in a restorative practice.
No yoga experience necessary, come as you are and expand your capacity to relax on purpose.
Class is limited to 6. Masks optional but encouraged.
